As far as I can remember, I decided according to my budget and my desired features for the TV. Since I want a TV that's Wi-Fi-enabled, 46" screen, Ethernet-connected, LED-backlit TVs and under $1100 with USB, HDMI and excellent motion resolution. So I got myself a Samsung 6400 Series 6 months ago. So far, it's doing great!

I considered the room size. Started to check online to see what's suited for the room measurement that suits my budget as well. Then that's the only time I reviewed the candidate kind, brands, models of the TV. Actually, this site will also help you.

I own a 55" Sony Bravia LED TV since this is a better brand than the others. My husband wants to have a TV with 1080p so we decided to get a TV larger than 46", the store people said 1080p is best viewed on a larger sized TV.

I considered the budget and room size. I just want to have decent LED TV, was on a tight budget and my room is just not too large. I decided to get a 40" Samsung LED TV.

My hubby wants a Sony and a larger TV because he is fond of watching sports channels. But since we are in a budget, we met halfway and end up getting a 46" Samsung LED TV which is fair enough for the both of us.

    57" Samsung LCD

We wanted bigger but none of the others would fit in the car. Sometimes I laugh a bit that that was the deciding factor, but I suppose it kind of made us realize that perhaps we didn't need a television so large that it wouldn't fit in a family sedan, haha.
What I'd *really* wanted was one of those eco-friendly (ie. keep the power bill small) LED tvs that Samsung and many other companies make. Admittedly because the screen looks much, much sharper and crisp. But in the end, we couldn't justify the huge price difference.

I think my TV is either 50" widescreen LCD or 52" widescreen LCD.  Something like that.  Budget and room size were both a factor.  I've had it for a long time now... at least 5 years (that's like decades in technology years)

I also have two 27" CRT clunkers in my basement if anybody is interested!  :)

I recently bought a 60" Panasonic Plasma ST50!  I went into the store planning to get a 50" TV, but slowly talked myself up to a 55" then 60" :)

My last TV was a 42" LCD, and it quickly became too small I found.  I love watching widescreen 2.35:1 movies, and with the letterboxing you lose some of the screen so the bigger the better!

42 inch LCD HDTV was the biggest that could fit into the hole where an old 22 inch CRT and two tower-oriented bookshelves were.

    42 inch

We won it in a draw!  But we love the size and picture quality.

32'' (82 centimeters), was the best quality/price FullHD LCD TV I could find to play PS3 decently !
