Ocassions,night clubs,scenic views

I am not a beginner but not an expert as well.Wanna click snaps in wedding,party,night clubs etc.I also love to capture the pics of various animals and bird and butterflies i.e. some moving object from a good distance.I want a camera having nice zoom,nice resolution and good quality photos in night mode.

over a year ago Philip-Davis recommends the Nikon Coolpix S6200

I think it's a really tough call between these two. The S6200 has a slightly faster lens to help squeeze out available light in dark situations... but in a night club you'll be using flash anyway. The S6200 can also zoom farther, which will help with animals and birds. Plus, the battery lasts longer.
