Take pictures on trips and probably portraits

Im a begginer I want to use it basically for trips, I travel a lot with family and friends and I want to be able to take really good pictures that look proffesional and enjoy looking them when i get back. Im looking foward to take some photography curses to improve and i love taking photos to little kids. Im looking for really good pictures

Which camera do you recommend for sofia-valdes?

    I believe that we should not compare between such models due to different category for same, but if you are going money-wise SX40 will be much cheaper & equipped with a tele lens (built in).

     

    unlikely the T1i will shot much clear photos & give a profissional touch to your photoes, & in case you want to learn & develop yourself; then you should get ready for further needs. DSLR cams will enable you to get different lenses & will cost you much of course.

     

    finally if you are interested in photography & will learn more, & may bay for some stuff later you can get T1i; but if you are not sure if you are going to upgrade later & you like to make zoom & shot far targets & you are not in need for lenses & don't wanna pay much then go for the SX40.
