Pls which is better for shooting music videos and movies

i am new to cinematography and i am low on the budget aspect, i know the canon t3i n 7d are still image camera's but offer video recording capabilities, because i read that the black swan was shot with the canon 7D, but the price is on the high side,  but the canon t3i is way cheaper and for it price offers almost equal functionality but can it offer good quality n function for shooting music videos and movies. thank u ur response will be really appreciated

pls i may need a friend or individual i can consult once awhile so i can ask questions about shooting videos etc thank u

    if your new the t3i is perfect because it offers easy functionality but still great over all control. The can be compared to the t3i because the t3i is entry level while the 7d is already prosumer it is also a fullcrop camera. Get the t3i and for example buy a 30mm lens instead of a 50mm lens and you will get the same full sensor look! Also if you ever need any help add me on skype my username is hillybob5

      Both cameras have an APS-C size sensor. You probably already know this. I just wanted to clarify because "fullcrop" sounds confusing.

    over a year ago Darren-G-Leary recommends the Canon 600D / T3i
    pretty much the exact same video recording capabilities. As long as you have 1.2 or 1.4 prime lenses, you'll be thrilled with the t3i

      thank u for ur response. i think al just go for the t4i since its newer and about the same price with the t3i n no much difference.
