Use as main camera for all shooting situations

Tell us more! Are you a beginner or expert? What types of photos do you like to take? What features in a camera are important to you?

I am an intermediate photographer.  I like to take long zoom shots especially (so zoom power and a good zoom are important), but also lots of outdoor and indoor shots in good and low light situations.  I do not take much video but would like panorama and burst shot capabilities.  I also take a fair number of indoor shots in all lighting situations. I like to experiment with different options but have not yet explored all the features of my cameras.  I currently use a 3x zoom Canon 10 mg pix camera which has given excellent results.  I have tried the Canon SX260 which provided superb long zoom, outdoor, and indoor shots--have not tried the other features yet.  GPS would be nice but not required.  Image quality is very important.

Interested in Panasonic, Sony, Canon, and Olympus long zooms.
