Residential architecture

I need high quality pictures, 30 fps 1080 video (for web posts and home walk throughs), an external mic jack, and the ability to take great pics indoors with sometime not so great lighting conditions.   I am learning photoshop pretty quickly, so tilt/shift is not necessary from a lense perspective, as I can fix it in PS.   Would like to spend between 1500 and 2000 on camera and lenses combined.   Can anybody offer any advice?   There so many options.  Tell us more! Are you a beginner or expert? What types of photos do you like to take? What features in a camera are important to you?

Which camera do you recommend for Matt-Moran?

Nikon D5100 - $497
16.1 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD
Canon 60D - $699
17.9 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD

over a year ago Simon-Mortensen recommends the Canon EOS 60D

The Canon has more megapixels wich gives higher quality and more cropping possibilities. It also has a lcd screen on top that displays all of the current settings and allows you to quicly change them without looking through the viewfinder. The lcd screen lights up wich helps alot of you are shooting in dark enviroments. Also you can change the exposure manualy in video mode (you can't do that on the d5100) and you can shoot at a highet fps (up to 60 fps for slo-mo) I would go for the Canon D60. It also has two control cogs wich helps alot!
