Which camera do you recommend for Ellen-Lin?

    Ellen, without a doubt, go with the S100.  It has a larger image sensor, which will give you better quality pictures.  It also has much better light sensitivity for low light situations (which is pretty much anything indoors).  Another really handy feature is the built-in GPS that will tag the location of your photos -- great for someone who likes to take pictures along their travels.

      From reading the specs, the Sony RX 100 has the larger sensor. 3x the size actually.

      She didn't ask about the Sony RX 100. It's also quite a bit more expensive.
