I am planning on traveling and using this camera casually.

I'm not planning on using all the fancy features. I just want a very high quality build and consistently clear, sharp, and color-true pictures. Overall, I'm looking for image quality, great build, and simple but powerful features

Check out the comparison of the Panasonic LX5 vs Fujifilm X10, they're very close. I haven't used either, but the LX5's wideangle lens (24mm vs 28mm) might be a reason to consider the LX5. Though, the X10 seems to have the advantage in low light image quality.
