OK struggling with a decision on which Canon EOS to buy.

Novice with SLR, looking to buy a Canon as hoping to share lenses with my daughter who has a Canon. looking at 1100D 550D and 600D.

Don't really want to spend too much but think I might regret going for the basic 1100D in time.  Would I?

Not sure if the 600D features are worth the extra money and would I use them? Like a washing machine with twelve programmes and I only use two of them !

Advice please - confused with all the technical reviews!

    EOS M is a mirrorless system camera introduced by Canon.This uses same Sensor of Canon 650D.If you dont want to pay for a Flipping Mirror and Optical Viewfinder, this would be another option.

    i would say 600D for sure ...it is new with many feature and you will regrat that you have when you learn much about camera 

    but if you like another cheaper option go with 550D better than 1100D

    It's little funny, but 550D is better than 600D. 1 plius is for 600D, that he has Flip-out screen, but why do you need it?

    canon 1100D camera is for begginers more, not many options,setings like 550D, little lower quality photos.

    600D is a better overall camera than 1100D. I recommend 600D.  550D lacks the fold out LCD screen of 600D but is usually $50-$100 (in US) cheaper. Innards of 550D and 600d are same.

    Fold out LCD screen is useful when doing video.  If you are not going to do a lot of video, save money and go with 550D.

    You regret not having the flipout screen as it such a useful feature to have especially filming or taking pictures above the heads of big crowds and able to see what you capture.
