My interests are mainly in nature photography

I shoot in wide angle and panorama.  Currently, I have Sony Alpha 200 with many Sony lenses, including a 18 mm wide angle and a 300 mm telephoto.  I want to be able to use these lenses.  Should I upgrade to Alpha a55 or Alpha a77?

Which camera do you recommend for Sunny-Raja?

    Sony A77 has Sweep Panorama which makes it the only DSLR camera that assists in making panoramic photos. You can do it with other DSLR cameras, but it requires a tripod. Many point-and-shoot cameras help with panorama, but, of course, they won't user your existing removable lenses.

    We upgraded from the Sony A55 to the Sony A77. Huge difference in photo quality and video... plus the A77 has excellent sound recording ability. We have taken over 50,000 photos and a few hundred videos... samples at http://www.abetterdj.net

    You can find the A77 on the big auction site in the $1200s

    I absolutely adore my a77.  I can get super fast autofocus to capture small bugs and birds that move quickly.... the colour is wonderful (shoot in RAW!) and the clarity is great.

    I had Sony A55 and I lost the camera. Hence I Bought A77.

    I was more happy with the result of A55 than A77. Problem with A77 resolution was confirmed by Sony Technicians.
