I'm a semi-pro photographer, I'll be taking photos of Weddings and engagement pictures along with wild life. I want to be able to take great pictures with great focus and detail. Which should I get?

Which camera do you recommend for carl-good?

Fujifilm S3200 - $173
13.8 MP|24x f/3.1|1/2.5" CCD|3" LCD
Canon T3 - $332
12.2 MP|APS-C CMOS|2.7" LCD

Definitely go for the Canon T3, you'll get much better image quality, and have way more control and room to grow.  You'll often encounter low light situations taking wedding photos where being able to shoot without a flash will get much more natural looking photos, and with the T3 you'll be able to bump up the ISO higher and still get good quality photos.

Check out our sister site LensHero, I'd recommend you get a 50mm prime lens for the T3, its great for portraits and details, and its wide aperture will let you get natural light shots you couldn't get otherwise, and blur the background!

Hey Orin, I don't really appreciate your language :) Carl is asking about the S3200 vs the T3.. you're probably right that the T1i is better than the T3, but I'm not sure how thats relevant here?

Go with the t1i, it has a larger sensor than the t3, an automatic lens cleaner, shoots in 1080p, less shutter lag, and has better image quality, all at around the same price if you get a used one from amazon, and most are just open box or used for a few weeks, so its still basically new.
