I am a beginner. I occasionally try to get cute personal photos, but mainly use my camera to capture everyday moments, travel, birthdays, sporting events (college level and youth sports), school and church programs that occasionally have low lighting. I like my camera to have a lot of zoom. I don't want to have to fuss with a lot of settings when shooting spontaneously. I do occasionally like to play with features and in-camera effects. I also want a battery that is fairly durable. My current camera eats batteries like candy. The first big plans I have for this camera is a family trip to Disney World.
Which camera do you recommend for Katie-Kennedy?
