Which camera do you recommend for Heather-and-Bree-Johnson?

    amazing image + microphone + video quality. never ending options in camera menus ===== i'm a k-x user but k-r is better.

    Why are you all blabbing about video modes? These are entry-mid level SLRs, who really cares about video? Overall, the K-r is better in image quality, ISO performance, and features. So, I'd recommend that, plus you can find it very cheap and then use old Legacy Pentax lenses.

    Pentax is much better all round and has faster frame rate (6fps)so more suited for sports than Canon. Only place that Canon is better is video mode. If video is not a priority then go with the Pentax.

    with canon t3i you get 720p x 60frames (slow it down to 30 frames to get smooth effect of slow motion)
