By no means an expert, have 2 jack russel terriers which I find incredibly difficult to capture on a photo as they are so quick when running around on the beach etc hence I have based my choices on fast shutter speed and zoom, good macro when I actually get them to sit still. Also tend to go on holiday to tropical countries i.e. Maldives so looking for a camera that will truly do the scenery justice.

As mentioned gone for shutter speed so a bit concerned if the TZ30  (which would be my preferred choice) will be up to the job
