Nikon had a few bad reviews and based on that I went with the SX150. Very sturdy construction, nice pictures and a better price. AA battery use is a plus for me, as you can get them anywhere in the world. I use rechargeable units, Sanyo Eneloop is the best, so there is a bit more expense there, but never needing to look for a plug to recharge is worth that for me. If you need power and have dead batteries then just buy a pack of AA's.
I am a beginner and love to take pics on the move. I would like to have a camera with good zoom, wide angle view and better ISO.
