Am already using nikon d3000 .. am planning to  buy next level camera.. i preferred canon 60d or nikon d7000.. pls help me out...I need good results ...in picture

    If you already have a Nikon then there is no reason to switch unless you're unhappy with something.  Nikon DSLRs also tend to have better image quality than their Canon equivalents.

      ok thank you.. I thought of going for another semi professional slr.. Which one u sugest??

      I don't know the Nikon lines very well. But without knowing specifically what kind of photography you do, I'd suggest that something semi-professional will be in the $1,000 - $2,000 range. Also, on a fixed budget, consider spending a little less on the body and more on the lens.

      What he said is true, it's better to invest in lenses than in bodies if you have a "tight" budget. If you have a nice array of lenses, and want a body the same quality as the lenses at a semi-pro level I'd buy the D7000 ($899 body only at 42photo.com, that's where I bought mine).

    why switch canon when u have some gear for nikon already which can be used on the newer body - for a whole new setup - it would be a matter of choice - if u want to go serious - and money is not tight - consider the higher range series too - heard of the d600 full frame @ 1500$ body only can be a good one to start
