Sortable has wrong info on these cameras. Both have image stabilization to help with the camera shakes. Both have same sensor size.

ZR200 is the replacement model for ZR100.  It has few more tricks than ZR100 but may not be worth more money.  Currently, R100 can be had for about $60 cheaper.

Higher MP on small sensors may not be advantageous. Hence, ZR100 may even be better in low light.  Both have fast shutter action for both still and videos.  They are niche market cameras with specialization in ultra-high speed video.

hey John, just saw your comment about image stabilization - did you notice Sortable's feature where you can easily fix incorrect specs? If you're interested you could fix up the image stabilization on those two cameras!

Thank you for you kind response. How about for action sport shots of my son playing soccer and baseball? Do I need an DSLR camera for these pictures?

DSLR with better lenses will generally take better shots but with plenty of light outside, you should be able to get pretty good shots with most P&S. Just don't zoom out to max range; better to get closer to the action than zoom with camera, if possible.

Is this the camera you would buy for action sports pictures on a sport field, at some distance?

      I generally like Canon, fujifilm or panasonic P&S cameras. Canon: G1X, G12, S100, 300/320HS, SX260HS Fujifilm: HS30EXR, X-S1, F660/750/770EXR Panasonic: DMC-FZ150, DMC-FZ47 Some Nikon: P510, P310, S9300, P7100 None are great for Sports action. You really need a DSLR and a fast lens.

Both are good cameras, but I would go with the EXZR200 with better features.
