I love taking photos, all kind of photos. I love it when it is sharp and stunning.

Which camera do you recommend for Vgill25?

Nikon D7000 - $897
16.1 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD
Nikon D3X - $4,699
24.4 MP|Full frame CMOS|3" LCD

No camera upgrade will give you sharper photos, and in fact, upgrading to a d3x(d800) may actually give you softer images unless you have the technical ability to produce tack sharp images using various techniques and tools. the only reason for going up to a d3x would be having a need for the professional body (weather sealing, handling), doing signifigant post processing work, or if you are printing especially large images, canvases.

From what it sounds like your shooting and the level your at there is really no need to spend that much to get a D3x. If you go with the D800 you can buy yourself several excellent lenses with the extra money you'd save.

I MYSELF USE A D700, LOOKING AT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO I WOULD RECOMEND TO RATHER LOOK AT THE D800 INSTEAD OF THE D3X MUCH CHEAPER

I would say the d800 also if your a heavy shooter. I have the d7000 and want to get another body thats full frame. I have been going back and forth on the d3s and d800. Everything I am finding points me in that direction. The d3x and d7000 are completely different spectrums if you ask me. One is full on pro and the other is advanced amatuer. Needless to say I love my d7000
