I'm a beginner i want a camera with good color quality and that is pretty light weight not looking for something that has many different lenses.

Which camera do you recommend for lindenberg?

Nikon D3000 - $262
10 MP|APS-C CCD|3" LCD
Canon T3 - $332
12.2 MP|APS-C CMOS|2.7" LCD

If you want a DSLR & don't want to carry a bunch of lenses, you could get a Canon 18-135 or 18-200mm lens. This is commonly used when traveling to keep the weight down.

Also, maybe consider getting a super-zoom camera like the Nikon P510. It shoots from wide angle to telezoom & has video. It would be light-weight & extremely portable.

Both the Nikon D3000 & the Canon T3 will produce great images but you'll soon find yourself wanting better lenses, flashes etc before long. It happened to me & this could turn into an expensive & addicting hobby.
