All around use (travel, at home, around town) mostly video shooting

I want to be able to pick up this camera and have little difficulty taking a variety of photo's with nice creamy bokeh (of course this all basically depends on the lens) and i will for the majority of the time be taking lots and lots of video. I really really seek the best possible quality in both my videos and photos. It's primarily casual use and a hobby for me, not professional at all. I am a beginner but really don't want to be underestimated because of it.

Which camera do you recommend for Lia-Young?

Canon 5D Mark II - $2,405
21 MP|Full frame CMOS|3" LCD
Canon 7D - $1,220
17.9 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD

You will get better photo and video quality from the 5DII thanks to the full-frame sensor.  (But the new 5D Mark III has even better video).
