Underwater photo, taking photos in low light, and general holiday

cascas | Asked  over a year ago | Last response was over a year ago

Hi, Looking for a camera replace my olympus mju600. With my current camera disappointed with low light (i.e night scenes).

Looking to replace with TG820 or TS4/F4. There does not seems to be any reviews comparing the two yet. The reviews for the TS4 show very good colour balance for underwater photos, compared to the older olympus 8010.

The panasonic has lens image stabliation, rather than sensor, however on the downside, the he TS4 seems to have a low resolution screen in comparison to the olympus.

What would others recommend?

Which camera do you recommend for cascas?

Olympus TG-820 - $173
11.8 MP|5x f/3.9|1/2.5" CMOS|3" LCD
Panasonic TS4 - $249
12 MP|4.6x f/3.3|1/2.5" CCD|2.7" LCD

I own a older Olympus Tough camera, and enjoy it. It takes good low light photos.
