Taking random photos

I like photography but I am and I will not be dedicated to this, I just want to take good photos :), will be my first reflex and my budget is around 700 USD. So I don't really know, I been told that the body is not that important and the lenses will do the work

Which camera do you recommend for dbarreda?

    Unless your taking videos, I'd go with the t1i, its cheaper so you could use the leftover cash to get a lens. They are both basically the same besides the t2i having better fps in shooting 1080p video.
