Used to take a lot of pictures with Nikon F2. Now more interested in highest possible quality photos from legitimately pocket sized camera while traveling . Long zoom is appealing. Of course looking for high pixel count and like the idea of having pan capability. Raw format sounds good, but needed? Is max F3.5 good enough or should I hold out for F2 or better? Is HDR needed?
