being able to shoot action photos

Hi, I am a beginner to DSLR Cameras and would like a camera i can learn to use without much difficulty. However, i am interested in taking action photos and would benefit from faster auto focus. I don't think I will be making any new camera purchases for another 5 years seeing as I am a university student so I would a) like a camera that would last. b) be more suited to taking a variety of photo types e.g. action shots, landscape, portraits etc c) great quality images (e.g. megapixels, clarity with zoom and with lowlight conditions) d) one which would produce less 'noise' or more stable/better for taking pictures of moving subjects and in low light. e) Since the price of dslr cameras are pretty hefty for student budget, I would rather pay a little more now and have one which i could continue to use for years and one which is more flexible to add more features to e,g, variety different lenses, flash, microphone ... f) I would also like to take quality, clear videos with good audio and stability in full HD. thank you :)

Which camera do you recommend for Alshaima-Alhinai?

Sony A65 - $698
24 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD
Nikon D3200 - $547
24.1 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD

I would go for the A65, you will be getting pretty much the latest technology so that will see you through the next 5 years comfortably.

If you want to do sports / action the higher FPS burst of the A65 will also be  a big help.

One thing you shold also consider is the A65 has image stabilization built into the camera body. If you go with the Nikon it does not and to get it you will have to buy IS lenses whih are more expensive. There are some noise issue at high ISO on the Sony but I think these are generally only seen at ISO 1600 or above (check that for yourself). However shooting in RAW is supposed to help.

Another thing that may help your budget is the use of A mount Monlota lenses which are plentiful and quite cheap.

You might also consider the A57 again the very latest technology and cheaper so you may get an additional lense. My wife has just got one and its a great camera.

    Hope that helps
