Speed, ease of use

I am 58 yr old grandma, going on Alaska cruise, which has prompted the need for more than a point and shoot camera.  I get frustrated with not being to take quick snap shots of my young grandchildren.  By the time my camera clicks, the smile is gone.  But often when I use a feature on my point and shoot, than I want to use it again, like night shots, I forget and have to find the Manuel to refresh my memory.  I have a friend that has the a65 and loves it, my son is recommending the c3 because of the size.  I liked the instruction availability on the a65, and was wondering if the c3 is as easy???

Which camera do you recommend for Terri-Hutchinson?

Sony A65 - $698
24 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD
Sony C3
16 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD
