image quality, able to see LCD monitor in bright sun

I am leaning towards the zs15 because GPS and touch screen are not important to me.  I read that the zs15 12.1 MP high sensitivity sensor might be superior to the zs20.  Does this translate into superior image quality?  It's hard to find sample images of both models to compare.  I had a Lumix years ago that I returned because of no viewfinder and was not able to see the LCD in bright sun.  How is the visibility in sunlight on these two models?  I take lots of beach shots.
