Shooting fashion outdoors. Beginner. Needs basic only.

Definitely want a medium to large size camera -- not necessarily a dslr -- WITH A VIEWFINDER. Will be outdoors shooting, and I cant stand the sun glare. I wouldnt say I am a complete newbie to photography, as I have used dslr's in the past, just never personally owned one. I dont need a really nice camera per-say, just one to get me by. I just want something to help me get started, and fairly easy to transport (not too heavy).  Dont want to spend more than $500 if possible.
