markbud7 | Asked  a year ago | Last response was a year ago

I am a real estate agent and am looking for a compact camera that offers a date/time stamp, can shoot wide angles, and offers good quality pictures that are easy to downloand.  Are there any other camera's in the elph 320 price range that you would recommend?

Which camera do you recommend for markbud7?

Canon 320 HS - $119
15.9 MP|5x f/2.7|1/2.5" CMOS|3.2" LCD
Canon ELPH 520 HS - $129
10 MP|12x f/3.4|1/2.5" CMOS|3" LCD

I recommend the 320 HS because of its low light sensor bigger screen and less complicated button setup, the camera captures a great amount of detail and it turns on pretty fast to get quick moments. I have it setup with my HeroCam to take steady shots and video. Ease of use is there. Also to note in the options menu you can set date and time. It will time stamp on the file. Also the battery life really isn't a problem you can buy extra rechargable propriatary batteries (they only cost around $30 each) and are small and easy to carry around with. I also like the crop feature built in to the camera and the camera is compatible with the iPhone 4s if you need to post pictures up fast mobile wise. The video settings are cool too you can make really compact video files or go with the iFrame mode for doing video editing with a Mac. I haven't tried the full HD mode because I stick to short videos to upload to my Vimeo account and social network sites.
