    I owned a canon G10 before this but the lens was not interchangeable I know the G10 was a bigger sensor but believe me you cant tell the difference in quality and a lot of peope say the HS30 is only 10Mp but really its 16Mp for the value for money buy a HS30 or wait until the XS-1 lowers in price....

      But it has not manual focus

      It will let you focus and recompose, which is probably what you need. If you really want manual focus then look at a DSLR.

      But all other cameras have manual focus.

      The P510 actually does have manual focus, set it to manual mode then press down on the pad, showing different focus modes, the one on the very bottom "MF" is manual focus. Press up or down on the pad to set the focus.

      it has a cumbersome manual focus. in the settings, you can assign the side slider to focus. it is cumbersome because you have to activate manual focus before it will function.
