My wife wants a camera and I can't choose.

We narrowed it down to these two cameras. My wife likes the Nikon better because she thinks it will take better pictures. I thought the sony would be a better deal because it takes 1080p video compared to the nikon 720p video and the sony is 50 dollars cheaper. But I do like that the Nikon has 26x zoom compared to the 5x zoom on the sony. I just want her to have a nice camera that we can afford that is universal and will last a long time. does anyone have any good advice?

THIS IS A GOOD CAMERA I AM ALSO THINKING TO BUY IT.

IT IS MUCH GOOD THAN WX50.

    26X > 5X = OPTICAL ZOOM

IF YOU WANT TOO BUY A CAMERA WITH GOOD ZOOM.I LIKE TO PREFER NIKON L810.YOU SHOULD ALSO SEE NIKON L120
