D3200 or D5100?

I'm looking to buy my first DSLR, with an interest in landscape photography and street photography. I've been looking around, and the D5100 keeps coming up on top but i'm wondering how much of this is down to its  movie shooting capabilities? I'm not really interested in video.

Which camera do you recommend for Rachel-Kenyon?

Nikon D5100 - $497

    both are similar to may extent - d5100 has a 1 stop better high iso low noise performance due to 16mpx sensor and a swivel screen + option for auto bracketing - while d3200 is a bit smaller to handle and a new 24mpx sensor- rest image quality and stuff are pretty similar
