Great all around camera, 650D doesnt have top LCD and also has more proffessional features, like higher shutter speeds like the 60D does. Also, touchscreen could get annoying and doesnt seem "Proffessional" for project work, if you get me...

Although you have suggestions for Nikon and Canon, me myself, I am a Canon lover and I beleive it is better for beginners and advanced, while Nikon is too technical to get the job done. But it is your decission (: Hope I helped!

The D5100 and the D3200 are very similar cameras (although the video AF on the D3200 seems to have suffered some improvement, so if you like shooting videos you should take that into consideration) but the D5100 is significantly cheaper. If you're going for stills the D5100 is definitely the best choice you can make right now.

Taking into consideration the price tag on the Nikon D5100 and the fact that it produces superior image quality stills than the Canon 60D (the D5100 has a larger sensor), I would overlook the fact that it doesn't have an in-built focus motor and weather sealing.

If you were to use it for sports photography, for example, then I would recommend the Canon 60D...

considering the price range and features d5100 should suit the best

invest in a 35mm f1.8 lens and u will not need more
