Is Canon650D better than NikonD5100 in high color depth & dynamic range?

as philip said that dxo has not yet published for 650D - trust me that when u compare 2 shots of these 2 cams on exact same settings - you wont be able to make out the difference - go with the one u like

i use the d5100 and the camera gives stunning results - rest is a bit of dark room processing over raw which can convert better to best ;)

Nikon D5100:

Dynamic Range: 13 EV

Color Depth: 23,5 bits

Nikon will announce the D5200 soon, btw.

Canon EOS 650D:

Dynamic Range: 11,2 EV

Color Depth: 21,7 bits

DxO hasn't come out with results for the 650D yet.  But it probably won't be that far off from the 600D which, according to DxOMark scores, isn't as good with colour depth and dynamic range as the D5100.
