Does the T4i shoot the same video as a 5D MarkIII?

Pro, still shooting film. Need to upgrade to a digital camera. I want to shoot video, do both camera shoot the same video? I know about the full frame vs. the 1.6 cropped sensor.

Which camera do you recommend for Thomas-Bosack?

Canon 5D Mark III - $3,299
22.1 MP|Full frame CMOS|3.2" LCD
Canon T4i - $690
17.9 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD

It has a better image quality, better low light performance and better compression format

The 5D has less noise in low light because it has a larger image sensor.  The T4i has some cool video features... but the 5DII will allow you to run Magic Lantern.  Going for the mark III is probably overkill... but only you know your needs and your budget.

When you not always make videos in the darkness, take the NEX-7 compared to the 5D Mark III it has a better video quality, or take the NEX-5N i think the video quality is very similar. And a big plus, both have a continuous focus like a real video camera.
