If you want to buy a full frame camera I would recommend the newly announced a99 over the 5D Mark III, mainly because of the price (a99 will be 2,800$ in late october) but also because of advantages of the SLT technology (much better liveview, continous autofocus, electronic viewfinder).

The downside of the full frame cameras is the slower burst rate of 6fps (5D and a99) vs. 12fps of the a77.
Still, if you are not that expierenced in photography the a77 may be the better choice. It is also a very good camera - one of the best APS-C cameras available.

My Photography is great. I'm still shooting film. When I buy this camera the Sony a99 that's it. I don't make enough money at Photography to justify the money I have in it. I do have a dream of shooting my own indie film. Bigger problem is I have 7 Canon lens.

There really is no comparison here.  The 5DIII is a far superior camera (as evidenced by the price difference).  The biggest reason to go for the 5DIII over the A77 is the full frame sensor.  However, there are other full-frame cameras that cost less.

Having said that, you'd do fine with the A77.  It's a great camera too.  In terms of action, the A77 can shoot at 12 fps.

What about the Sony a99. It's specs blow away the 5D Mark 111. Plus it's cheaper.

Which specs in particular are you referring to? We're still waiting on DxOMark scores... but in the absence of those, it looks to me like the 5DIII is better than the a99. (ISO, battery life, focus points and cross-type focus points, opaque mirror). Plus, as you've said in other threads, you've got 7 Canon lenses. So the a99 isn't truly cheaper for you. If GPS is important to you then check out the Canon 6D or the GPS addon.
