Lenses and resolution

OK  At present I have a Lumix which has an articulated viewfinder screen. Is it true that the D3200 has this but the D7000 doesn't?

Also I have older film camera Nikon lenses .

Are these adaptable for a purely manual lens on either the D3200 or the D7000 because they are great glass and I do not want to waste theem.

Which camera do you recommend for Nerkferkle?

Nikon D7000 - $897
16.1 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD
Nikon D3200 - $547
24.1 MP|APS-C CMOS|3" LCD

Yes, you are correct, the d7000 screen does not articulate like some of the other camera's, like the 5200 and others. The good thing about Nikkor lenses is they can be used on any camera made in the last 25 years, you may lose some functions, but they are usable, the d7000 is an upgrade, in the camera there is another motor, for focusing, that lets you auto-focus with the less expensive, older lenses, that don't have their own motors, on the d3200 these older non-motor lenses won't have the auto-focus control, like the d7000, for the extra money, the d7000 has much more room to grow, it's 39poimt AF system is bested by only the best Nikons costing into the thousands.

Thanks Bruce, the lenses I tried didn't fit the D3000 that my daughter has but it is great to realize that the D7000 will do it, Bummer about not having the articulated screen because that would have been unbeatable. Hope they do it soon. Thanks again
