I really don't know what to buy..

Every seller and different freinds recommend different cameras. These are 2 of the cameras I've been told to buy, and its within the price frame that i've been thinking about, max 5.000 DKK.

I only shoot foto's when i am on holiday og to partys. Later on i want to use the camera for shooting nice pictures of my children. I am a beginner :)

1. I would like the camera to have video og still shoot function. I want to buy a camera that is transportable in pockets and a small bag. I dont want a camera where i have to carry a bag only for the camera.

I dont know if i should buy one of these 2 cameras indsted of a normal digital camera?

In 3 weeks we are going to Las Vegas, and i have been thinking about buying it in the states, but i don't know abou the garantues when i am back in denmark.
