Low light picture with longer expose time

My Nikon D80 is not suitiable for longer expsures at low light because it is affected of the quite well known "Nikon star eater" and it is very noisy during long expsures. Thats very sad and the more expensive CCD sensor does not show its true power.

Which camera do you recommend for Csa-Sve?

Nikon D80 - $350

    Much lower noise and not effected by the nikon star eater

      Second that. Activate long exposure noise reduction with it. Win. Prices are coming down nicely on these too. Had one for a year now.
