Which is better for me?

A37 is the best, because it has 24fps and 60fps in video mode in FULL HD !!

I'd say the Sony SLT-A37, it has more than enough resolution, new tech., higher speed continuous shooting, better video function, lower price. In addition, you can experiment with old Minolta lenses you can buy almost for nothing

I have NEX F3 camera 2 weeks ago. the camera is very ease and powerfull for controlling and creativity visual. btw, now I moved to A37. the reason is the lens.

with OSS on the lens, thats make lens for NEX is very expensive. A37 is for long term A-Mount Lens family. U can get A-Mount lens for 1/3 price of E-Mount for same lens (e.g. SEL/SAL 50mm F/1.8).

but, u have the reason for fun, family , and party; actually KIT lens of Sony Nex F3 is much more adequate for all purpose. U can added some adapter lens from other brand too for adopted their lens, like Nikkor EF 50mm f/1.8. manual only of course. ;)

the sony has an excellent video quality and frame rates .

simply the best option. great in low light and easy to use.

In this price category, go for the NEX-F3 or NEX-5N (slightly better for same money). They are excellent low-light performers (the other comparables are not so good). If you need a viewfinder (and the looks of a traditional DSLR), go for a Nikon D5100.

I think for fun,family and party below properties can be taken while choosing.

So I searched for Mirrorless cameras and found Sony NEX-5N is very near to your choice.

I personally a Nikon DSLR lover , where I use to take photos while others are enjoying party and also they have to make space for me to move around with a bulky necklace :)
