I would recommend you try to pick up a used T3i, it is a good camera and there are not many big changes between the T3i and T4i.
Which camera do you recommend for Sergio-Lopez-Ruiz?

Hi Sergio!
What is your budget? The T3i is a good choice, but in my opinion Nikon's D5100 has the best price-to-quality ratio in the entry level DSLR category. Buy it with a 18-105 kit lens and you get a nice start. Also Pentax K-5 and Sony A57 are great choices if you spend a little more.
Take a image quality comparison test here:

Compare the qualities RAW 100 (daylight) and RAW 3200 (low light).

Visitor7 months ago Caley-ThomassonI was going to buy a Nikon d5100 and am now looking at the two canons, the d5100 has a problem turning out black photos, something shutter related. I believe about 1 in 100 but if you can use the warranty, which apparently is hard to get though some retailers, you may have to pay for shipping and wait 6 weeks to get your camera back. There is no time line on the problem, so buying a used one isn't even a guarantee that your camera will work properly. Could cost another $200. With the other options out there, not worth the risk if you ask me! Amazon has plenty of reviews.
