The touch screen is intuitive and amazingly sharp (1,152,000 dots, the highest resolution around, and it's 3.5" so it's huge)!

This is my first touch screen unit, and I love the touch screen, much easier to use than a button menu camera.

I loved this camera for the first 5 days of the trip, it did well enough underwater to get some fun pictures.

Those micro-SD cards are so tiny, but they hold 122 superfine shots on a 1 GB card even at the highest resolution of 14 megapixels.

Remember: megapixels don't mean squat if you don't have a decent lens, auto-focus system, processor, memory card, etc..

wide angle lens

Samsung WB210
Fujifilm FinePix XP20
The 21mm wide angle is really handy creatively, or just for cramming in lots of people or other subject matter, and the 12x zoom covers a lot of range.
WB210 by islander (May, 2012)
From a water proof perspective, it worked flawlessly, and we have both photos and video from under water on our vacation.

Figured I'd take a chance on this camera, I do a good bit of kayaking and was hoping I might get a decent waterproof with abit of optical zoom.

However, as a secondary camera for those times when you need a pocket camera that can get wet, dusty, or cold, or might need to survive a drop, it's an OK option.

The camera has some nice features but because of the battery life I would not recommend it.

I do not want to carry 3 or 4 extra batteries if I am planing to take alot of pictures, not to mention the cost of the extra batteries.

If people want excellent HD video than buy an expensive hd video camera, Or professional pictures buy an expensive DSLR.

If it is dark out, and the intelligent setting is trying to use "face" mode or anything other than "night" mode, it would probably be best to override the settings manually.

Small and easier to take than my larger cameras, and it takes awesome photos and videos.
