The sensor-shift image stabilization system means that every lens you attach will have shake reduction.

I still have a soft spot for my Nikon, and greatly prefer the optical through-the-lens viewfinder to EVF or LCD, but objectively speaking, purely in terms of image quality per unit weight/size, there is no longer any real justification for DSLR.

But the Live Guide interface, now bolstered by the addition of the touch screen, looks like it might do its core job well.

The built-in flash also works well and can be angled.
