VAIO Y Series by gina (May, 2011)The font size and everything seemed to be a bit smaller too since it all has to fit on the smaller screen which I found to be very annoying, but I went into setting and change it to 150% and it made a whole world of difference.
VAIO Y Series by Guy-Harel (Dec, 2011)I actually had to superglue the top part of the display, as it came shipped with a small gap.

Screen
Sony VAIO Y Series 11.6", 1.65 GHz, 4 GB, 500 GB HDD | Rated 60% by by I.-R.-Smart.--Tzu-CrazyThe screen, while featuring a lovely resolution, is desperately (and I mean desperately) lacking in contrast.
Sony VAIO Y Series 11.6", 1.65 GHz, 4 GB, 500 GB HDD | Rated 90% by by TrustedReviews (May, 2011)When watching video we found it didn't resolve some of the dark, fine detail, but this is fairly typical of mainstream laptops and HD material still looks as crisp as it's meant to.
Sony VAIO Y Series 11.6", 1.65 GHz, 4 GB, 500 GB HDD | by LaptopMag (Jan, 2010)When we streamed an episode of 24 on Hulu at full screen, horizontal viewing angles were generous, and we noticed a high level of detail even in standard definition mode.

Harddrive
Sony VAIO Y Series 11.6", 1.65 GHz, 4 GB, 500 GB HDD | Rated 60% by by William-Morris (Feb, 2012)I would have added USB 3.0, dropped the HDMI and the SD card reader, added a small SSD, dropped the RAM to 2 GIGS but with the option and ability to upgrade to 4, 6 or 8 GIG.
Sony VAIO Y Series 11.6", 1.65 GHz, 4 GB, 500 GB HDD | Rated 60% by by M.-Fulkerson (Nov, 2011)Of course, the 5400RPM Hitachi hard drive is fighting against this notion, too, and it boggles the mind why more computers don't utilize an SSD, or even 7400RPM drives.
