N55 Series N55SF by Wenceslau-Baltor (Dec, 2011)Its screen has a large work area with great clarity and quality.
N55 Series N55SF by Brenorc97 (Apr, 2012)_the 1080p display sometimes make the worlds really small, but i proffer it this way, but if you don't like this just set the resolution to 900p.

N55 Series N55SF by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)Also, the notebook comes with a 'driver DVD' also to my surprise, which I had fully expected all the drivers installed to be up-to-date, being this release is relativity new (7/2011) product mfg updates, and comes fully configured as Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 - Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU 2.20 GHz, 8GB RAM (maximum) 64-bit Operating System - Activated, upon final setup, from the properties of OS (C:) screen.
N55 Series N55SF by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)The 2670QM CPU isn't the latest & greatest, but should suffice for most multimedia applications, as well as the NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M onboard graphics processor (research both at Intel and NVIDIA sites, first, so you won't be disappointed, as I expected better performance) where most wouldn't want to run the latest Call Of Duty, MW3 game at full (if you know what I mean) might fry the notebook with excessive heat!
processor
N55 Series N55SF by Brenorc97 (Apr, 2012)_quad-core processor and 8 GB of RAM is more than enough for every use of the laptop.
N55 Series N55SF by you_nerdIt also runs very warm (65 C processor just watching netflix on my desk), so buying a cooler wouold be a great idea.

N55 Series N55SF by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)The Recovery DVDs (4) are finished now, while writing this review and the desktop Intel Core i7 processor icon is no longer reporting the CPU's processor speed, and unknown why?
N55 Series N55SF by Wenceslau-Baltor (Dec, 2011)With the fast Intel I-7 processor I can run several applications at once: the Windows7, multiple windows of Firefox, OpenOffice, Netbeans, GnuCash, among others, and all this without sacrificing performance.

N55 Series N55SF by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)The notebook is sleek, well-designed, light-weight, the initial '1st battery charge' took roughly 2 hours, which was charged over-nite, to be safe.

ASUS N55 Series N55SF 15.6", 2.2 GHz, 8 GB, 750 GB HDD | Rated 80% by by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)Going back to the TrendMicro pop-up, it appears likely it is a 30-day trial, without accepting any 'free offers,' without reading and researching more - the 'minimized screen' says, Start Your Free Trial - Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security,' which I tend to research other user's, who say the 'free Comodo Firewall or Internet Security package' is better and others who say that Microsoft's AV known as Security Essentials is sufficient.
