I went to stores for the touch and feel and deciding on a brand I would want and listen to people of what they were saying about different brands.

I prefer a matte screen.

Glare will be a problem for this screen.

He has bigger fingers and doesn't have much feeling in the tips, so to me that meant that it had to be a large keyboard.

If I had a lot of time I might send it back for one with a better keyboard, but I won't.

It would be nice if the keyboard keys were lit up and if the mousepad was a little more centered instead of left sided as you can see in the picture.

I would have preferred more memory just because everything seems to take more to run these days, but 350 GB is fine for what I am using this for (even though after the OS is installed you only have about 288 GB open space from the get go).

I wanted to uninstall all the crapware computer vendors put on their computers and completely confuse inexperienced users into severely handicapping their computers into long boot times and used up resources!

The last time I bought an Acer laptop, it can with a full copy of Windows Vista; I didn't have any problem with that at all!

This diamond-plate plastic stuff covers the back of the screen and the main faceplate....makes it feel sturdy.

The entire laptop case is made of a plastic that has a "diamond hatch" pattern - similar to the pattern on truck running boards and the like.

I thought I could put them back but the retainer clip / hinge that hold the key were actually fractured.

Although I wish they would stop shipping Windows computers with resource hog AV programs when most people have no idea how to uninstall them or that they should if they decide to run something else, there was not a lot of crap on this computer.
