I love the Envy screen and I don't care.

The screen is brilliant and deserves honorable mention if it were not for the glossy finish that reflects too much background light.

It then takes me to a HP recovery screen that offers several options, none of which are selectable (clicking on the options results in no action).

DVD - The Envy comes with Blu-ray and the MBP doesn't.

It could have been a simple purchase, but because I wanted to make sure this laptop was to be delivered ready to accept a second HDD, I asked the question.

I was looking at another, less expensive model with slightly more HDD space and better battery time but decided to go for the extra HDD bay and lit keyboard on Envy.

FAST!! Worth the premium price and you get a lot like blue ray ect... Keyboard is awesome.

But for my usage - score the keyboard as a win for the Envy as it has more stuff.

Much more powerful than a standard mouse... but it is so hard to get used to using that thing when you have a separate mouse/keyboard like I do.

It is smokin' fast for a laptop, and with an added SSD, this is unmatched for speed.

That all being said, if you don't care for lit keyboard and extra hard drive bay, your money can be better spent.

Upon inspection fo the rail kit, I found that it was lacking the screws to actually secure it to the laptop chassis, yet included the screws to fasten the HDD to the rail kit.

Touchpad: I've never owned a Mac , but I've used a Mac touchpad and I'm not afraid to admit they have the best.

Every keystroke feels solid.-Touchpad: After about 30min of tweaking the Synaptics settings, I got the touchpad to work the way I wanted.

I realize that the trackpad is off-centered, and while I don't understand this new trend in laptops I'm able to adjust easily.
