I loved the webcam quality, less so that of the speakers.

The screen is very easy on the eyes , though I made an adjustment to the font size to 125% to ease the my eye strain for long periods of time of use.

Its high-resolution PLS screen offers quality above any other laptop display on the market, its connectivity isn’t compromised by its sleek lines, and it’s great to use too with an excellent backlit keyboard and large, sensitive touchpad.

I loved the screen but wished it had a higher resolution.
Series 9 NP900X3B by johnklem (Aug, 2012)
The screen has a great resolution and the laptop is beyond light measuring a little over 2.5 lbs (which is substantial compared to my old 05-06 model of the Toshiba Satellite that was almost 6 lbs).

Either processor is preference and one is not much more powerful than the other; I prefer lower Ghz for longer battery life and cooler performance.
Series 9 NP900X3B by Saint04
My computer can go from off to up and running in 30 seconds including punching in my user password at the login screen; My previous laptop is 5 years old and had Windows Vista with a faster processor speed and 3 Gb of RAM, yet start-up was on the order of 3-6 minutes.

As far as I have been able to gather, it is NOT possible to upgrade the RAM on this model.

The battery life is not great for a 13", but this recharges so fast (about 80% in 30 minutes) that I can plug it in for a quick charge and be ready for more work.
Series 9 NP900X3B by techgeek32
The battery life is about 5 hours, which is less than the Mac Book Air but the battery charges up very quickly in a short amount of time.

It’s lovely to the touch, large enough for comfortable gestures, and flawless in its responsiveness.

Display has excellent viewing angles, color, brightness, and contrast.
Rated 100% by by Dave (Mar, 2012)
I prefer using Windows because Windows Explorer is way better than the Finder and Microsoft Office 2010 on Windows is still better than Office 2011 (at least for me).
Rated 80% by by Piel (Apr, 2012)
The display is great, excellent viewing angles and colors/contrast; something that you generally only get with a good IPS display on a tablet.

Screen

Fantastic monitor - great resolution (not retinal but woah it's nice) and super bright/vibrant colors.

It's a 13.3-inch matt-finish panel with a high 1,600 x 900 resolution and near-flawless viewing angles resultant of it using PLS technology.
Samsung Series 9 NP900X3B 13.3", 2.3 GHz, 4 GB, 128 GB SSD | Rated 90% by by TrustedReviews (Sep, 2012)
Meanwhile colours are bright and vivid without being too oversaturated, and sharpness is excellent thanks in part to the high resolution.

Touchpad

The good news is, after downloading the touchpad driver from Samsung's website the touchpad seems functional so far.

And the nice thing is clicking this thing isn't loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood like the touchpad on my soon-to-be-retired macbook.

The touchpad works very well for me, one of the best on a PC.

Battery

A couple weeks later, after replacing the system board and a with new battery, we got the computer back and it STILL WILL NOT HOLD A CHARGE.
Samsung Series 9 NP900X3B 13.3", 2.3 GHz, 4 GB, 128 GB SSD | Rated 20% by by SUE (Dec, 2012)
I didn't like that the battery was not user replaceable and I thought that battery life at 5:30 with wifi on and moderate browsing and writing was OK (I'd been spoilt by my Asus UL30 with an honest to God 10hrs with the same workload but that weighed 4lbs).
Samsung Series 9 NP900X3B 13.3", 2.3 GHz, 4 GB, 128 GB SSD | Rated 100% by by johnklem (Aug, 2012)
When we first received the computer, the battery would not hold a charge.

Life

Weighed against all this goodness, the 900X3B’s average battery life seems a minor downer, and overall Samsung’s latest ultraportable is worth every penny of its premium price.
Samsung Series 9 NP900X3B 13.3", 2.3 GHz, 4 GB, 128 GB SSD | Rated 90% by by TrustedReviews (Sep, 2012)
Battery- life; not great, but I seem to get about 4 hrs out of the box.

Battery life and performance might be merely average, but in every other regard this is the king among thin and light laptops - due in no small part to its stunning high-resolution PLS screen, which more than justifies the premium over many rivals.

Size

The Samsung Series 9 900X is not just the thinnest, lightest 13in laptop in the world, but it’s also the best-looking, best sounding ultraportable we’ve come across.

I love the size and weight of this laptop (will be great for road warriors like me), as well as the fact that the WiFi supports A/B/G/N which means you'll get true N speeds (300 mbps).
