It's a pretty good screen, with solid viewing angles and nice color reproduction, and a blindingly bright maximum setting.

Not only is everything incredibly sharp with nary a pixel to be seen, but because the panel is of the IPS rather than TN variety, viewing angles are also as close to perfect as laptops get.

Everything that makes the X1 one of our favorite ultraportable laptops is still here: the sharp 1600 x 900 display, the spacious and comfy keyboard, and a durable, soft-touch chassis.

Although in the future, it might be reflected upon as a transitory device in the convergence of iOS and Mac OS, right now it feels like the perfect combination of the two.

The sound is adequate, graphics are suitable for light gaming, SSD is quiet and quick, display is bright but not bright enough to overuse the battery and the battery is adequate (although if they were able to add in a bigger battery without changing the weight I probably would be a little happier).
