Intel Core i7 2670QM
Rated 40% by by B.-Formwalt (Jan, 2012)I became very discouraged with NVIDIA's 555m GPU with Optimus technology which supposedly switches between the integrated and dedicated graphics processors seemlessly and as needed.

N55 Series N55SF by Wenceslau-Baltor (Dec, 2011)Its screen has a large work area with great clarity and quality.
N53 Series N53SV by Ashley (Mar, 2012)The back of the screen is a very nice looking smooth metallic brushed aluminum.-Haven't tested the built-in speakers too much but there is a rather large one running along the width of the keyboard under the screen, and it gets pretty loud.
screen resolution
N55 Series N55SF by Brenorc97 (Apr, 2012)_the 1080p display sometimes make the worlds really small, but i proffer it this way, but if you don't like this just set the resolution to 900p.

Performance Real world tests of ASUS N55 Series N55SF vs ASUS N53 Series N53SV
3DMark06 CPU
N55 Series N55SF by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)The 2670QM CPU isn't the latest & greatest, but should suffice for most multimedia applications, as well as the NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M onboard graphics processor (research both at Intel and NVIDIA sites, first, so you won't be disappointed, as I expected better performance) where most wouldn't want to run the latest Call Of Duty, MW3 game at full (if you know what I mean) might fry the notebook with excessive heat!
N53 Series N53SV by TrustedReviews (Oct, 2011)In our PCMark productivity tests, it managed a respectable 6238 points.
cinebench r10 32Bit
N55 Series N55SF by MaxBuilder64 (Nov, 2011)The Recovery DVDs (4) are finished now, while writing this review and the desktop Intel Core i7 processor icon is no longer reporting the CPU's processor speed, and unknown why?
