It has been a breeze setting up, lighting fast USB 3.0, crystal clear 15.6 inch display, very thin profile, completely quiet, very little excess heat, and it came with zero bloatware (gasp)!

So far my brother loves his Acer laptop and I loved the price as big sis had to buy him one so he had something to work on and Skype back n' forth so we could stay in touch.

I bought this computer as a secondary computer to augment my online business, because I tend to overdrive processor speeds with too much work all at once.

Anyhow it only comes with 4GB of RAM, so do yourself a favor and go buy 8GB of RAM and replace what's in it, if you can afford 16GB of RAM, even better.

battery life

5 hour
Granted it doesn't provide over 10 hours of battery life such as Asus U series or a Macbook, it also only cost 1/3 of those other machines and just as fast.
Aspire S 5755 by A-F-Moose-1892 (Feb, 2012)
Nice sleek look, easy to navigate, windows tend to freeze or become unresponsive quite easily, battery life less than stipulate 5hrs.

cinebench r10 32Bit

I spent the better part of three days (probably a total of 20 hours) reviewing specs, prices and reviews for laptops: *Especially* processor speed reviews.

It's a great laptop, I've been using it for 1 week and it works perfectly, just installed 8gb of ram and works very fast, beautiful screen and keyboard, is thin and lightweight, I'm very happy with it.

I LOVE IT!!! It is super fast, light weight, has a number pad, fantastic screen display and the price is great!

Has what I was shopping for (USB 3.0 port for the external hard drive, full numeric keypad, 15.6" display); was looking at the HP on sale this week at Best Buy with the AMD A-8 processor & 8GB of memory already installed but couldn't justify paying $100 more for the better graphics since I'm not a gamer.

There are 3 USB ports but no HDMI, which I don't mind, but some might.

It's a great computer but it still has all the normal glitches of a Windows based system.
Rated 80% by by Sammy-Lindon-Jr (Dec, 2012)
The spacing on the keyboard is somewhat tighter than on HP and Dell laptops; it can be hard to adjust to this.
